Working From Home Check Lists


With the transition of working in and office to working in home office,   I created myself several check lists :  

·         The Planning List

o   Dedicate a full time office space – (clean/rearrange the area to accommodate office.)

o   Talk to other associates that work from a home office to get recommendations  

o   Research my options and put together my Office supply list.

·         Office equipment/Supply List

o   Desk

o   Wi-Fi Extender

o   Adjustable monitor mount

o   *Chair mat

o   *Ergo Standing mat

o   *Chair

*(Some of these items I already have in the office that I will take with me)

·         Move List

o   Fill  a R.A.D.A.R for when we move office equipment out of the BTC

o   Box up misc. office supplies

o   Laptop/docking station

o   Monitors

o   Files

o   Chair

o   Ergo mat

o   Floor mat

·         Office Set Up List

o   Fill out R.A.D.A.R when moving office equipment in house

o   Assembly office equipment

o   Put office together

·         Tips for success

o   Set a work Schedule

o   Stick to a schedule to Avoid distractions

o   (Get Dressed) Don’t just wear pajamas to work

o   Take breaks

o   (Get out of House) Plan time to meet with the guys

o   Stay out of Kitchen (Don’t munch all day)
