Running through the house
This one is kind of simple, but very frequent. My house is designed with four rooms in a straight line and when traveling from one room to another I usually tend to run. The reason is not really known that is just how I move about. Or we can chalk it up to excess energy from having a “desk job”. One risk comes from the path of the “straight shot” having variation. And the variation is frequent with bags, boxes, chairs, and TOYS, all having varying locations from day to day or even minute to minute on weekends. Also, although I may clean up spills as they occur on our hardwood floors my son may not. So more often than I would like there is not only tripping hazards about, but slipping hazards as well. To lessen the risk I should walk through the house and also revisit the prevention of tripping and slipping hazards with my son.
