Safety & Wintry Mix

I just finished reading Ross' email about the associate that fell on the ice.  Living in my climate, I have never taken at-home safety precautions when it comes to ice, but just last week we did have a enough frozen water to create ice on our front walk and parking lot and my son and I did have to venture out before it melted to get him to school. It now occurs to me that either of us could fall on any given icy day.  I plan on purchasing salt to keep on hand to try to prevent any falls next time we do have wintry weather.
