o   Discussion points:
§  Do you keep the ground floor doors and windows locked when you are home alone? Do you set the security alarm?
§  Do you get solicitors? (Never allow people you do not know into your home, such as a door-to-door sales person, a person asking to use the phone or looking for a supposed neighbor.) ~www.cmpd.org
§  Do you what to do if you were home alone and choking?
·         (You can give yourself abdominal thrusts by using your hands, just as you would do to another person, or lean over and press your abdomen against any firm object such as the back of a chair.) ~American Red Cross Skill Card
·         If you are in an emergency situation where you may become unconscious the best thing to do after calling 911 is to get to the front door and get it unlocked, open, and get outside if possible

o   Housekeeping inspections

§  Keeping walkways clear
