Here is a quick reminder of what Weyerhaeuser's PPE Requirements are for Jobsite Visits:
Required Personal Protective Equipment
q  Hard hats must be worn at all times.
q  Steel-toed shoes or work boots with puncture resistant soles must be worn at all times. Boots with ankle support are recommended.
q  Safety glasses or other appropriate eye protection must be worn at all times.
q  Ear protection is to be used whenever use of tools or other equipment results in noise levels sufficient to result in possible injury.  (Guideline: if you cannot easily hear normal speaking level conversation, ear protection is recommended.)
q  High Visibility Vest is recommended.

q  Always check with your on-site host to ensure compliance with policies and requirements at the specific site or project.
q  Be aware of your surroundings. Watch and adhere to safety signs.
q  Make eye contact with vehicle operators so they are aware of your presence.
q  Be alert to the dangers of the work environment.
q  Never be too timid to stay out of harm’s way by refusing to put yourself in uncomfortable or dangerous situations.

  1. Quick note for packing when flying to a customers site. Packing safety gear can be a pain. I have been wearing my safety boots. Pain going through security but saves a lot of room in your bag. When working at a site I am not packing a hard hat but instead by a hard hat at Lowes and leave it there. This really saves room in your bag!
